We've been watching people order coffee for a long time. Long enough to notice some patterns. This is not peer-reviewed research. This is observation. Take it as you will.
Black coffee, dark roast: You've made peace with discomfort. You don't need things to be easy or sweet. You probably wake up before your alarm goes off and you're mildly annoyed when people are late. Respect.
Pour-over, single origin: You care about process. You own at least one piece of gear that other people think is excessive. You've explained the difference between washed and natural process to someone who didn't ask. You're right, but you know that.
Cold brew, black: You're efficient. You made a batch on Sunday and you're set for the week. You don't have time for hot coffee drama. You have things to do.
French press: You like things with weight. You're not in a hurry. You probably have strong opinions about cast iron skillets too.
Drip coffee, whatever's there: You're practical. Coffee is fuel, not a hobby. You're probably the most productive person in the room and you don't need anyone to know it.
Flavored coffee, black: You contain multitudes. You're serious enough to drink it black but you also want your morning to smell like a campfire and toasted marshmallow. We respect this deeply. (See: our S'mores blend.)
Whatever you order — drink it with intention. Life's too short for bad coffee.
